Rubber Duck Ducky Duckie Birthday Party CAKE Mold PAN Review

Rubber Duck Ducky Duckie Birthday Party CAKE Mold PAN Review
With every odd shaped pan, it took me a few batches to get this cake just right. The hard part is finding a mix that did not get hard around the edges. I found that more 'fluffy' mixes worked best. You can also use a wilton core to help evenly heat the center (I put mine where the neck/breast would be)

Unless you have strong wrists & hands, don't try to use the tips to dot the entire bird. Still looks great if you just frost and add texture or yellow coconut.

TRICK: I have found that letting the baked cake sit wrapped in plastic for 24 hours helps the cake moist before you frost it (so make it a day ahead and let sit wrapped. this also works with cup cakes).
Practiced making cake with this mold, after 2 unsuccessful tries, the 3rd time worked. Difficulty determining if the cake was not gooey in the center.
