I bought three of these ducks for my elderly, diabetic spouse. He has neuropathy in his lower limbs and can't feel the temperature of the bathwater. He has already experienced serious burns to the upper feet.
This product REALLY works and is wonderful for him. He can now bathe in safety.
It's too bad that Amazon.com can't/won't ship this product to Canada (where we live). Understandably, I went to a great deal of trouble to get thiws product for my spouse as nothing similar is sold in Canada. (I believe this may have something to do with the lack of bilingual labeling and Canadian laws.)The duck says "HOT" if the water is too warm, but not "CHAUD" (the French translation). This was be easy for the manufacturer (Safety 1st) to remedy and they could vastly increase their marketshare with this simple modification. It's a great product for both infants and elders.
