12 New Floating Yellow Rubber Ducks Review

12 New Floating Yellow Rubber Ducks Review
This product was exactly what I was looking for and was so pleased with it. They were great rubber duckies and just the right size too.
Yep, they are cute little ducks just as they appear in the photo. They float a little wonky; not exactly upright. No biggie in most circumstances. They worked well for our party.

Alex Toys Rub A Dub Dirty Dogs Review

Alex Toys Rub A Dub Dirty Dogs Review
My kids just adore the cute Puppy dogs and are just amazed by how the dogs change color in "warm" (not hot) water. Definitely worth it!
This is a unique bath toy. My package came with 3 dogs: white, yellow, and grey. Basically, the spots disappear when you put the toy in WARM water. When you take them out of warm water, the spots start re-appearing slowly within a couple of minutes. So the fun starts now: you can wipe off the spots with warm fingers or a warm washcloth. But the spots keep coming back immediately. The wash cloth is basically any 3"x3" terry cloth, nothing special. At least the dogs are cute squirt toys if you do not see any educational value in the wiping part!

Amazing Animals Tubtime Friends: Dolphin and Starfish Review

Amazing Animals Tubtime Friends: Dolphin and Starfish Review
My mother purchased this for our seven month old daughter; it is her first bath toy. There is a dolphin, a starfish, and a a tube. The dolphin is plastic and the fins and tail turn and click. The tube is plastic too. The starfish is soft and squirts.

She loves playing with these in the tub! They are simple and fun. This would make a great stocking stuffer for Christmas.
Our daughter received this toy for Christmas, and really enjoys playing in the tub with it. She is nine months old, and this holds her interest well. It doesn't have any fancy tricks, but it is a lot of fun for imagination, and throwing! It's durable as well. A good bath time option.

Fisher-Price Precious Planet Bath Mirror Review

Fisher-Price Precious Planet Bath Mirror Review
My son really like this bath toy set. Its nice to have the mesh bag to keep all the toys in. Although it would be nice if it were a little bigger to hold other toys. My sons favourite is the starfish rattle comb. He chews on that in the bath the most.
My daughter hated her tubby time for a while. Not sure if it was this toy that did it (most likely, not)....but now she is enjoying her bath, and she especially loves the squirt toys that come in this set. She loves the comb, and we use the alligator as her hair rinse cup. The only reason I gave this a 4 rather than 5 stars is because the mirror always has a film over it, no matter what I do to clean it. But she can still see herself...and again the toys that come with it are fantastic. I also like the mesh bag to hold all the toys. Just wish it was a bit bigger.

Iplay Lobster Tub Caddy Review

Iplay Lobster Tub Caddy Review
This is a great alternative for the frog & Ladybug options of the same concept... however, the suction pads are poor. They don't stick well... often times sliding down the wall. BUT! BUT! My son LOVES this thing! Every since he was able to be spaciously aware of things he would look for it in the bath, now we use the "claws" for play at 6 months... soon the whole thing will be in the bath & the beach!

Munchkin Wet Wheels Bath Toys Colors Vary Review

Munchkin Wet Wheels Bath Toys Colors Vary Review
The picture had shown two toys when I bought this item and the title is Munchkin Wet Wheels Bath Toys which would also lead you to believe you would receive two toys. We only received the turtle and I thought there was a mistake with the order. I think $7.98 is too much money to spend on this bath toy. It would be a reasonable price if you received both toys.
Ok... it may be obvious to some, but it wasn't to me. When I looked at the picture and it showed 2 bath toys and the title said "Toys" in the plural, I wrongly assumed that you were getting both bath toy(s) for the $7.99 price. Add the fact that nowhere in the shopping process are you allowed to select which toy you'd like to order (the dolphin or the turtle) and it all points to the fact that you're getting both. WRONG!! You get 1 toy, and you get no choice as to which one it is. This is especially important since we have twins, but I would have the same frustration if I only had 1 baby... it just feels like false advertising. Next time I'll know to inquire with customer service. Not only was I disappointed for not getting both, but when I realized I had payed $8 for 1 toy, I feel like it was overpriced for the small amount of plastic involved in making this.

So how do I rate the toy... it's a nice toy.. very simple and does all that it should do. Floats like it says... rolls like it says... and basically is a bath toy (duh!). Nothing special... but at 12 months, my kids would probably be happy with an empty plastic pop bottle in their bath. :-D

Rattlesnake Squirt Review

Rattlesnake Squirt Review
The photo doesn't do it justice. The painted detail of this snake is remarkable and it is the first fake snake I've ever held that made me nervous.

I bought it to keep birds off of my deck and out of my garden but yes, I admit it, I also had someone in mind that is terrified of snakes and it sure did the trick when I sprung it on them.

The snake is in a realistic pose compared to most fake snakes and its head is reared up which helps make it realistic. This snake comes across more of like a biology prop than a rubber toy because it is so realistic.

I purchased the snake not as a toy, rather for my garden. It does look pretty real except for the seam that runs lateral to its body. The head looks real and the body would be realistic if were not for the seam.

One person that was looking at my garden was frightened when she saw the snake.

I also have an Owl and the motion detecting Scarecrow to keep birds out. Between all of them it seems to be working.

Thomas & Friends: Preschool Thomas & Bulstrode Bath Buddies Review

Thomas & Friends: Preschool Thomas & Bulstrode Bath Buddies Review
My grandson is still in the "Thomas" stage. I was advised that he had his heart set on "diesel" for his birthday present. So we ordered one from Amazon and noticed Thomas and Bulstrade. It was so inexpensive, we ordered one. It turned out to be the big hit at his party. He pushed it around the floor, ignoring more expensive toys.. I am sure he will like it even more when he gets to use it in his bath.
The thing barely stands a chance against a toddler. It barely floats, best suited for older children perhaps. The boat spends most of its bath life at the bottom with Davy Jone's locker. Thomas the Train floats quite well however.

Alex Toys Tub tune Symphony Review

Alex Toys Tub tune Symphony Review
I did not keep this item very long before sending it back. The blue thing holding the flutes together was just a toe separater...VERY flimsy. The flutes would have just fallen out had I allowed my child to play with them. The drum is small but I didn't really have complaints about that. My main complaint was that the product showed up USED when it was supposed to be new! There were HAIRS in the tape holding the pieces inside the box and there were parts of the xylophone that were missing. Yours may not come in this condition, but this was completely unacceptable!
The xylophone sounds nice, but not sure why the keys come apart, just something else to loose. Sound is pretty, but the keys are small and a little hard to hit accurately for little ones. The drum is has a rather dead tone, but still fun to bang on in the tub. I like that you can change the pitch by tipping it and letting some water in underneath. The flutes do not retain the amount of water you put in due to the required air vent need to play them if you let them fall int he water, but they sound nice. Several songs included. All-in-all a fun toy set for the tub.
